American actor Todd Anthony Bridges was born 59 years ago in San Francisco, California, is married and has 2 children.
Todd’s career started in 1975 when he appeared in an episode of the sitcom ‘Barney Miller’. That same year, he was cast in a couple of TV movies and later acted in several other TV films and series.
His career took a positive turn and Todd became famous when in 1978 he began interpreting the character of Willis Jackson in the then-popular sitcom ‘Diff’rent Strokes’ alongside actor Gary Coleman who played the role of his younger brother. Bridges appeared in this role for a total of 169 episodes and is the only living member of the original cast. Until the end of this series, Todd starred in numerous other series and made-for-TV movies such as ‘CHiPs’, ‘Here’s Boomer’, ‘The Facts of Life’ and ‘High School U.S.A.’.
Afterwards he proceeded with his career and in 1989 debuted on the big screen in the film ‘She’s Out of Control’. From then to date, Bridges appeared in over 40 movies and 19 TV productions including TV movies, series and shows, as well as some music videos.
